Which drug for UTI's is better or would you rather feel safer taking. 250mg of Levaquin or Bactrim. The doctor at first prescribed me levaquin but that stuff is really exspensive since i have no insurance or bactrim which is free. I'll pay for the other one if I have to but I would like someone elses opinion on which is safer.

i have always taken bactrim and I do have insurance. It works quite well so I can’t understand paying a lot of money for a similar drug.

I have honestly never heard of either of these. I have actually done some natural remedies for UTIs in the past including drinking two or more glasses of water (per day) with real, natural lemon juice added to them. Also, I would recommend taking Cranberry supplements as they also kill off UTI. Try doing both together for 7-10 days and I’m sure you’ll see the results you’re looking for, all without a prescription. Great for people without insurance or those on a budget.

I prefer Bactrim, I buy generic form of Bactrim - Cotrimoxazole . works same good as the one I can buy in apharmacy around the corner. have saved lots of money in the past few years, pay just $2 per pill.
here is the pharmacy link if someone’s interested
