How long should I use backup protection after finishing antibiotics?

you confused with me your statement. If you were told to use back up protection for the rest of the pill pack do so and to be super safe I would use it the first week of the next pack just to be safe and you should be good to go

use extra protection during the length of your meds, then for an extra 7 days after you start your new pack. Remember your period pills have no hormones in them just extra iron to start you period. You really do not have protection while on your period pills.

I say use protection until you are finished with the medication and keep protected even two weeks after you are finished. It’s better to be safe then sorry.
