Has anyone taken the Z pack antibiotic during their first trimester?

They say it's okay but I also know that you're not suppose to take ANY medication during the first trimester. I'm a little worried but I have a terrible sinus infection. If you took this antibiotic, how was your baby?

I took it and so far the baby is supposed to be healthy and on track. I’d trust the doctors if they said its ok.

yes it is ok, having an infection can cause more harm than taking an antibiotic.

hi-
i had a sinus infection that WOULD NOT go away, and ended up having to take TWO doses of antibiotics. and my babies (twins) are FINE. trust your doctors. they know what they are doing. you will be ok. there is NO reason to be miserable with a sinus infection just because you are scared of hurting the baby. he/she will be ok! good luck!
