the drugs will be in your system for a while and you dont want the tonsillitis to return . I would wait a week. What is the big deal.

Why don’t you take this opportunity to give it up ! Alcohol is bad for your health.

Give the medicine time to get into the intestines where it will get into the blood stream. 3 hours should do it.

The alcohol impairs your (white, I think) cells from attacking the potential infection. 24 hrs is prob’ly safe for ONE drink. Then wait another 24 before TWO drinks. (If you hold a stethoscope to your chest after a drink in the 1st 24hrs, you can actually hear the LITTLE CRITTERS PARTYING!)

It doesn’t matter. It’s a popular myth that alcohol interferes with antibiotics. It doesn’t. It can lower your energy and delay recovery.
