How do I combat antibiotic-related diarrhea?

I'm about halfway through my antibiotic regimen and up until this morning the diarrhea has only been mild-to-moderate. This morning, I've already had three bouts with it and I feel very weak. Is eating rice a good way to offset some of this diarrhea? What else can I do?

you can probably eat less sloppy food and don’t drink liquids while eating a meal. drink it after eating the meal. lie on your left side to slow down gastric emptying. i think a high bulk food can also help to increase bulk in your food.
however, if it’s been really that BAD and constant, tell your doctor about it… maybe he can switch antibiotics, you know… diarrhea over long periods can lead to dehydration and electrolyte imbalances.

God bless You!! = )
