I tend to get sick a lot mostly from bacteria (infection), allergy, mold, etc. Of course I am careful and try to keep the place allergy / mold free home. Whenever I get sick (bacteria infection / sinus infection / upper respiratory infection ) Conventional doctor would give me an antibiotic and I am feeling better in about 10 days. Fine. But I also know the downside of using antibiotic. What are the healthier better alternate ?

Yes, I begged for the meds if she relapses but no, he won't do it. I have to fork out more money that I don't have.

Do all anitbiotics work pretty much the same? I have appointment with my dermatologist and have been prescribed antibiotics in the past for my acne. I also have a bad cold that I am hoping that some antibiotics with clear up. It comes around once a year and I'm sick for weeks. Congestion, runny nose, coughing etc. I want to ask for one antibiotic to clear up both. Not cipro....cipro doesn't work too well.

I took an antibiotic for a sinus infection for 10 days. 1 wk after I took miconazole for yeast infection and then 2 wks later I now have some type of allergic reaction happening- itching on my face, neck, ears and now on my arms/hands. There is no visible rash per se but the itching is terrible and definitely been set off by something? Any thoughts?

I went to the Dr. over 2 weeks ago and was given an antibiotic and antihistime..a week later i was back cause there was no progress.. they switched to a stronger antibiotic and now a week later and i still have seen little if any progress i also have had swelling come up over my left check bone in the past 2 days its very painful.. what should i do next?
