Kassy H asked:

I recently went to the doctors and got an antibiotic for a sinus infection and now I feel like I have a bladder infection? Will the antibiotic for the sinus infection help the bladder infection too?
Thank you,
Kassy

I took an antibiotic for an infection on my arm and it made my face amazingly clear. (Of course now that I'm done with them my face is breaking out). Not that I'm coplaining that it cleared up my face. Just wondering why?

Will they help replenish the good bacteria or is it pointless. Will the antibiotic kill all of the probiotic I take?

My hamster's chin got scratched a few days ago, the scratch is healed now, but there is a lump where it was. I think that it is infected, so I want to give him anibiotic. I don't have access to vet, please recommend me which antibiotic and how should I give it.
I can take my hamster to visit a vet. I have vet friends but they know nothing of hamsters.
Please advice me which antibiotic and how should I use, and please don't tell me to take it to visit a vet.

I generally take a probiotic daily. I had a small surgery and the Dr. gave me a prescription for an antibiotic. Can these be taken safely at the same time?

I have a deep cut on the top of my foot that I should have gotten stitched and didn't. It's been a day and a half and it's still bleeding every once in awhile. I've soaked it in peroxide a few times and have it pulled closed with butterfly bandages and put one of those new waterproof, advanced healing bandages on it. My roomie has Amoxycillin her dentist gave her just in case she got an infection when she got her tooth pulled. Since this is still hot and swollen, I was wondering if I should start to take it, just in case. I figure if the antibiotic reduces the swelling, maybe it will start to clot up a little and heal. If not, then I know I really have to bite the "no insurance" bullet and go get medical help. Wonderful healthcare we have here, isn't it?
