Flagyl
Kid-A asked:

I know that there are several other antibiotics/antibacterials more commonly used to treat UTIs such as Macrobid and Bactrim. However, I do not have health insurance until August 1st and am trying to avoid doctor fees, and the flagyl is the only antibiotic that I currently have access to. What do you think? Should I go for it? I hate to take antibiotics casually if I don't need them, especially flagyl because it can make you sick, especially if you drink alcohol, but the UTI won't go away and I am quite uncomfortable. BTW, I've been swallowing tons of cranberry pills and water to no avail. This is a persistent one! Thanks in advance!
