I get UTI's about every 3 months, and i do everything the doctor has told me to prevent them but i still get them, anyway i went to the doctor and they prescribed me 3 days worth of levaquin at 500 mg each, i took the second one last night but i don't think its going away, levaquin worked great when i took it the last time, could i become immune to it because i became immune to bactrim, today i think i have a fever, am i getting this because my body is trying to fight off the infection?

I went to the doctor's on monday and they told me I had an infection. (u.t.i) And they prescribed bactrim to me. But I'm not sure as to what the side effects of them are. Because after I take the pill I begin to get cold and start to shiver. I'm not sure if this is normal or not. And then after a few hours of taking the pill, I start to burn up and start to sweat. So I ask do you know anything about this antibiotic?
all I was told was to take it twice a day for 3 days at the same time. They failed to mention if any side effects would occur. And the only information I have on it, is what I had read. But I want to know from a personal experience.

I was prescribed Bactrim for a throat/chest infection, problem is I've been throwing up sometimes and I'm not sure if the Bactrim will get in my system in time. I took it almost an hour ago and I feel like I may throw up again.. If I do, will any of the Bactrim still work to fight the infection?
