Christina asked: For the past day or so my urine has had an extremely strong odor. I called the doc today. He couldn't get me in but decided to prescribe me a medicine that should take care of the urine smell and the discharge I have. I thought it was weird that he just did that instead of seeing me first but he has experience so I have to trust him. I was wondering if any of you ladies while pregnant, used Cleocin 100mg vaginal suppositories and if you had any side effects. Vaginal irritation, a UTI and diarrhea are the side effects but that's weird because I'm trying to get RID of the irritation!! Anyway, I'm really freaked out to take anything (my first baby) and almost broke into tears in the store and way home. I double checked w/pharmacist abt the safety of the med while pregnant and she said it's fine. I have to use it for 3 days.
Anyone use it before? I'm extremely nervous to use it. Help.
To the lady abt. the daycare-I live in Lakewood, OH. The name of the daycare I work at is Holy Family Learning Ctr. I can't remember its website (shame on me) but if you live nearby the number is 216-521-4352.
Also, the nurse on phone today said I'd need to be seen but then came back & said he was completely booked& she'd leave him a msg. And apparently he felt like he didn't need to see me so he just called it in. I don't see him again til 10/3. Is it odd for them to just call in meds w/out seeing patients? I know I just have to calm down.
